VACANCY: PROPERTY MANAGER

LOCATION:KAMPALA

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To identify potential properties throughout Uganda and negotiate business deals for the rental or purchase of new retail store premises for Pep Uganda.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and evaluate new opportunities

Negotiate leases for new stores I premises

Renewal of existing leases

Liaise with landlords

Presentations to board for approval

Administration and record keeping of all property related processes

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification

Minimum 3 years' experience in Property Management

Exposure to the retail industry would be a strong advantage

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Computer Literate (MS Office)

Willingness to travel

Core skills needed: Drive and Motivation; Acute attention to detail; Strong financial/ business acumen; Strong planning & organisation skills; Ability to function independently, Problem assessment skills and Strong relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
