Monday expected to be rainy day across the country

According to the weather forecast released by the Uganda National Meteorological Authority, the Lake Victoria Basin region that includes Entebbe, Kampala, Mukono, Wakiso, Jinja, Mayuge and Bugiri, is expected to experience light thundershowers in the morning

All parts of the country are expected to experience rainfall on Monday 18 April, according to the weather forecast released by the Uganda National Meteorological Authority.

The Lake Victoria Basin region that includes Entebbe, Kampala, Mukono, Wakiso, Jinja, Mayuge and Bugiri, is expected to experience light thundershowers in the morning any sunny intervals in the afternoon.

However, the rest of the country is expected to experience sunny intervals in the morning and light showers in the afternoon.

The weather report further indicated that today (Sunday), the Southern districts of the country were cloudy with isolated showers in the morning.

In the afternoon, the Western Sector of the country experienced cloudy conditions with isolated showers while, the rest of the country had sunny intervals.
By 9:00 clock Sunday morning, according to the available data, Masaka weather station had recorded the highest rainfall amount of 58.6mm while Masindi weather station recorded the lowest rainfall amount of 6.1mm.

By 3.00 O'clock Sunday afternoon, according to the available data, Gulu weather station had reported the highest maximum temperature of 29.50C while Masindi weather station reported the lowest minimum temperature of 17.50C.
