There were no surprises in the Division 2 UCA National 50 Over League as Aziz Damani, Jinja SS and Charity secured victories against Africa, Mwiri and Premier respectively.

League favourites Damani made it five straight victories for the season with a 75-run win over Africa, who failed to make the affair worthy of a top-of-the-table battle. Shazad Kamal and Arnold Otwan scored 49 and 36 runs respectively as Damani, who won the toss and elected to bat, set 142/10 in 18.4 overs in the rain-affected game reduced to a T20 affair.

Timothy Erumuka and Amos Kyazze both claimed three wickets apiece for Africa, who never put their chase in contention. Raza Iqbal claimed 4/10 to lead Damani's defence as they restricted ACC to 67/8.

Erumuka and Trevor Kapere scored 14 runs apiece for ACC, who have now won three and lost two.

In the Jinja derby, Jinja SS thumped Mwiri by 97 runs with Isaac Ssekatawa scoring a match-best 56 runs for the victors. At Entebbe, Ronald Opio (26 runs), Lawrence Ssempijja (24 runs) and Simon Ssesazi (3/18) led Charity to a 28-run win over Premier in the rain-affected game.
