UMEA Games: Luyanzi stuns Gombe

Luyanzi College exacted revenge on Gombe SSS in this year's Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) Solidarity Games at Masaka Secondary School.

Luyanzi College who lost the boys' volleyball title to Gombe last year managed to beat the former 2-0 in the opening games.

The 2016 edition of the games started on Friday with action in girls' and boys' football, netball, volleyball and handball.

Handball, netball, volleyball are being played at Masaka SS whilst football is been hosted at various playing grounds; Gayaza, Hill Road, University playground, Kitovu Arena and the Masaka Recreational Stadium.

They are expected to climax on Easter Monday. Over 1000 participants from 88 schools are in Masaka for the games.
