Uganda juniors continue to struggle at African championships

Uganda is now fighting for places at the All-Africa the 18th edition of the All-Africa Junior Golf Championship in Tunisia after remaining glued in 7th position after round two at the El Kantoui Golf Course in Sousse in Tunisia.

Edwin Okwong, Herman Mutebi and Morris Asaba remained Uganda's scorers with 82,82, 85 gross respectively but despite their slight individual improvements they were still 72 strokes behind leaders South Africa who still lead with a total gross score of 440 over 36 holes.

Zimbabwe are in second place 15 strokes off while Morocco and hosts Tunisia are third and fourth respectively.

In the net score leader board the Uganda team whose members are playing at this stage for the first time is also trailing in 9th place, with Nigeria, Tunisia and Morocco leading on that front.
