"It is one of my dreams and I will do it. I can tell you that I will do it. I know golf is more like woodball save for a few techniques and with good training; I can also make an impact. I would be at the course and am sure I will put up a good show," said Zawedde.

Zawedde was rewarded for her winning a bronze medal at the Thailand International Woodball Open last month.

She beat SC Villa, Shamim Bangi and Uganda Badminton team to the monthly title, which comes with a sh500,000 cash prize after putting up a good show that saw her get 204 gates. The performance saw her rise in the world rankings to seventh overall.

"I thank all the people who have been around in seeing that my talent develops," she said.
