We work with local people affected by conflict to improve their safety and sense of security, and conduct wider research and analysis. We use this evidence and learning to improve local, national and international policies and practices that can help build lasting peace. Our priority is people: we believe that everyone should be able to lead peaceful, fulfilling lives, free from insecurity and violent conflict. Saferworld has been working on conflict and security issues related to Sudan since 2008. Our growing programme focuses on capacity building for partners working for conflict transformation in Sudan, as well as policy analysis and advocacy. The Project Coordinator will be focus particularly on our support to young people in Sudan, who are engaged in peace building and conflict transformation. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in non-profit project implementation, preferably in Sudan, coupled with experience of working on conflict and/or peace-building issues. S/he will have a proven

ability to network and establish collaborative relationships with a variety of actors and experience in project management including financial management and donor reporting.
