Valentine's Day Motocross Championship

The Africa motocross champion Ross Branch has arrived in the country today promising to give Uganda fans value for their money.

The 29-year old Botswana national and four-time Africa champion told New Vision online on arrival at Entebbe airport that he is ready to give Ugandan fans the best of his performance.

Branch, who is both a South African and Botswana national motocross champion, will take on Uganda's Maxime Van Pee and Asaf Natan at On Valentine's Day at the Victoria Race Way Park Garuga.

"I'm excited being hear and am ready to do my best and excite the Many Ugandan fans who enjoy motocross," Branch stated.

He was welcomed by National team captain Maxime Van Pee, FMU Deputy Vice President in Charge of cycling Ismail Balinda and Mountain Dew Brand manager Tracy Kakuru at Entebbe Airport.

Branch will be in the country training Uganda team starting tomorrow Wednesday till Saturday before riding as a guest rider for a week on Sunday in the opening round of the Mountain Dew national motocross championship opening round.

The event is co-sponsored by Mountain Dew, ICEA Insurance Group, Safe Solutions, IAA Resolution Health and Era Hotel.
