Angesa said the partnership comes at time when the financial year is about to end, but his company is committed to promoting sports in Africa.

Ethiopia airlines and Uganda Sports Press Association have signed a partnership, making the airline the official transport company for the association.

According to area manager Abebe Angesa, the three return tickets to USPA President Sabiiti Muwanga, vice President Ritah Aligumah and Secretary Patrick Kanyomozi is the beginning of a partnership between the two bodies.

"We are committed to transporting USPA around the world in the 90 destinations we fly to," Abebe stated.

The tickets will help USPA officials attend the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Congress in Doha Qatar.

Angesa said the partnership comes at time when the financial year is about to end, but his company is committed to promoting sports in Africa.

USPA president, Sabiiti Muwanga lauded the airline saying,"We want to thank Ethiopia airlines for the support and am confident this support has cemented a lasting relationship between USPA and the airline."

He added that while at the congress, he would lobby for support from the developed associations.
