Hot Pool Club have signed the services of former Skin Samona captain Alfred ‘Black Sheep' Gumikiriza.
The former top seed who walked out on Skin Samona mid-season last year, moved for a record fee of sh3.5m.
The player fetched a sign on fee of sh2.5m while sh1m buys off his contract from his former team. He is entitled to undisclosed monthly wages and match allowances.
Gumikiriza is the second major signing for the Ntinda-based side after Charles Segawa who inked a 2-year contract at sh1.2m.
The past few Weeks have seen Hotpool busy in the transfer market. Team manager Bob Trubish has promised to build a squad that will not only compete for the 2016 league title but also dominate the game in the coming years.
In the ladies category Hot Pool snatched CKI queen Sharon Mirembe at an undisclosed fee.
Gumikiriza and Segawa will beef up Hot Pool attacking array that includes former Nile Special Open champion Jonah Turigye, Humphrey
Nsubuga, Adam Sebbi , Habib Sebuguzi, Paul Wasike, Fred Namanya , and Nathan Bwankosha.
Gumikiriza promised to improve Hot Pool's performance.
"This is a winning good team that I belief I will help to fire up. I have ever played with Turigye and Namanya and I know what they can do and I Know we can do it together with Nsubuga and Ssebi'' he said.
Defending champion Skin Samona has so far lost three key players in the on-going transfer window.
Young turk Musa Ssekiriba and Sula Matovu's were the first to move to CKI Phamarceuticals Pool Club.
