Lottery winner to youths: Invest in sustainable business

There is a plan this year to launch a billion lotto in a month's time.

 

The 2015 national lottery winner, Lawrence Damulira has urged youths to invest in sustainable business. Damulira believes that bridging the unemployment gap can be tackled by identifying sustainable businesses.

"With the money I won, I have managed to build a permanent house and also set up a home factory which produces and brands crisps, coupled with distribution to different places," said Damulira

The sh206m lottery winner advised youths that before identifying any business, they should often strive to ensure that they research about the business and engage in with full knowledge.

Damulira was giving business tips Sunday during the national lottery progress check on Damulira's business at his home in Nabulagala,    

According to Isaac Rucci, production manager at Uganda national lottery, there is a plan this year to launch a billion lotto in a month's time.

"We are already looking for agents and different people to help beef our human resource in the course of this project," said Rucci
