URA beat Tanzania giants Yanga 4-3 in penalties after 1 all draw  in the semis-final of Mapinduzi Cup to qualify for the final.

Hamis Tambwe took the lead for Yanga before substitute Peter Lwasa leveled for the Lugazi based side

URA now take on Mutibwa  Sugar from Tanzania in the final  on Wednesday.

The annual event that kicked off on January 3 will end on January 12 with the overall winner walking away with a trophy and$10,000 in prize money.

URA were invited with KCCA to play the annual event but the Lugogo based side turned down the invitation saying some of their players were injured.

KCCA is the only Ugandan side  to have won the tournament in 2013 with Herman Wasswa scoring the only goal against Tanzania giants Simba in the finals
