Handball league: Prison Spears take on Police Metro

The national handball league resumes Saturday with table leaders Prison Spears taking on second placed side Police Metro at UCU in Mukono.

The national handball league resumes Saturday with table leaders Prison Spears taking on second placed side Police Metro at UCU in Mukono.
The two sides are longtime rivals and besides it’s likely to be the game that could determine this year’s men's champion.
Prisons are still unbeaten with 18 points in nine league games while their opponents are also on 18 points but with more games played.
“They can’t stop us that I am sure. We know their game moves and we plan to capitalise on their weaknesses,” Prisons skipper Ibrahim Kongo said.
Meanwhile Police Metro’s skipper Frank Ssemuju is also positive ahead of the match.

"We could be having a few weaknesses like any other team but we are trying hard to perfect all our moves because we are going to play a harder side," Ssemuju explained.
In the other men's games, UPDF will be playing Police Kifaru and Prison Arrows while bottom side Ever Green take on Police Arrows later.
Meanwhile in the women's category, leaders Prisons with 10 points will be up against Police who are fourth with 2 points in a group of five teams.
