A section of journalists in West Nile have been tipped on peace and conflict reporting in an effort to reduce on the escalating conflicts in the region.

According to the chairman for the Northern region media club Moses Odokonyero Uganda as a country for so many years has been dogged with many conflicts ranging from land, power, and tribalism.

He said if journalists fail to conduct themselves in a professional manner while reporting, the prevailing peace will not be sustained.

He encouraged media practitioners to be professional in executing their duties by understanding the basic ethical principles of journalism like being fair, objective and observing the existing legal frameworks.
