Timbe returns to Police FC

Uganda's most successful coach Sam Timbe has returned to Police as the head coach.

Uganda's  most  successful  coach  Sam  Timbe  has  returned  to Police  as the  head  coach.

Timbe's return was confirmed by the Club chairman Asan Kasingye on his twitter handle.

"Police FC is happy to announce that Coach Sam Timbe has rejoined the club from Sofapaka," Kasingye said.

Timbe  who  has  been  at Kenyan giants  Sofapaka , has  won  major  titles  with  different  teams  in  East Africa such  as SC Villa, Police, Atraco among others.

He won four CECAFA Kagame Cup titles with SC Villa, Police, Atraco of Rwanda and Young Africans from Tanzania.

Angelo Lonyesi who  has  been  the coach  for  Kavumba  based  side is  now likely  to  be   the assistant  to  Timbe.

Timbe  first  game  will  be  against  Sadolin Paints in the Azam Uganda Premier League next week  on  Tuesday  at Kavumba Recreation Ground.
