Despite a 21-14 win over Kenya at Kyadondo, the Rugby Cranes technical bench is not taking anything for granted ahead of the second leg of the Elgon Cup on Saturday in Nairobi.

The team resumed training Monday at with emphasis on kicking and tackling as they are the areas that need improvement.

“We have no time to rest because we have got two days to address our weaknesses before we embark on the journey for the return match,” back coach Herbert Wafula told New Vision in an interview.

Wafula added that they are not moved by the changes in the team the Kenyans will make. Our major concern, he said, is the team being perfect in all departments, good tackles, set pieces and kicking to collect any point available.

On Saturday Ugandan kicker Kevin Makmot missed two penalties and Bishop Onen one which denied the team nine points that would have given Uganda a 16-7 half time lead.
