Nineteen-year-olds Charif Allaoui and Iliass Dhanouni are students at Makerere University. As you can tell by their names, they are neither Ugandans nor East Africans.Comoros at the northern end of Mozambique. But the two neither came for a bachelor’s nor a diploma; they came to Uganda to learn English. French being their official language back home, they want to learn English to have more opportunities globally.
