The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga will tomorrow (Tuesday) visit FDC headquarters to collect Etaffaali.

The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga will tomorrow (Tuesday) visit FDC headquarters to collect Etaffaali.
FDC spokesperson, John Kikonyogo, told reporters on Monday that during the visit, Mayiga will also tour the party’s headquarters, interact with the politicians and the party top leadership.
“Etaffaali fundraising drive was launched early this year to boost the ongoing reconstruction works at Kasubi Royal tombs, which were torched in 2010.
“Tomorrow, we shall be with the Katikkiro here. He has already confirmed that he would be at our headquarters by 9a.m,” he said.
Kikonyogo said that the party officials will hand over to Mayiga their contribution towards the reconstruction of Kasubi tombs.
Ever since his appointment, Mayiga has amplified efforts to ensure that Buganda’s glory is restored through not only the reconstruction of Kasubi tombs but also other kingship tombs in Buganda.
“All party officials will be here at the party headquarters to receive the Katikkiro,” Kikonyongo said.
