The mother of Sunshine Baraza, a 2-year-old girl who drowned to death at Acorn International School, Bukoto has pinned the school management for negligence, saying the swimming pool was unattended to at the time her daughter drowned.

Rolyn Baraza told City Hall Grade One magistrate, Moses Nebenda, that the school authorities had told her they had trained personnel to man the swimming pool at all times, but was shocked to learn that her daughter, who had been at the upscale school for only four days, had drowned in the swimming pool.

Baraza told court that she had paid for her daughter's swimming classes.
