On the day of the Festa Della Repubblica, this year we focus upon the Universal Exhibition 2015 (Expo2015) which will start on May the 1st in Milan next year, to last for six months and host an expected 20 million visitors.

It is the “World’s Fair”, where over 140 countries will showcase their strengths and potentialities.
Italy’s wood machinery
By Brian Mayanja Wood Machinery, an Italian company established one of its agents in Uganda 21 years ago. The agent sells imported wood machines, manufactured from Italy. In Italy, the business has been there for more than 35 years. In Uganda, Wood Machinery imports used machines for cutting timber, to make furniture products, like dining sets and chairs.
Club woos Italians to invest in Uganda

The Business Club Italia (BCI) was founded in 2012 and has now registered over 20 members. The club was established to represent the interests of Italian entrepreneurs operating in Uganda and to attract potential Italian investors to Uganda. The BCI is promoting solidarity and cooperation among the associated members and is addressing the specific economic, commercial and cultural interests in each sector of activity of its members, interfacing with Ugandan business entrepreneurs. BCI has offices at the Uganda Manufacturers’ Association (UMA) show ground at Lugogo in Kampala.
