Sport-S Ladies Volleyball club manager Safina Namayanja has urged her charges to be devoted to the club and sacrifice the little time available to train if they are to post results and avoid relegation.
She made the assurance following her side’s 3-0 defeat to Vision Volleyball Club last weekend in the NSSF Volleyball league games held at Makerere University Business School Nakawa (MUBS).
“You are all better players but your fitness has gone down and if you continue like that then expect nothing less than relegation,” she told her girls.
She further urged the players to identify their weaknesses and work on them if they are to test the joy of victory in their team.
“The league has just started and we need to strategize early enough. I know you all have weaknesses but as a player you have to know where your weakness is so that you seek help.”

She particularly blamed their defeat to busy academic schedules that had some players miss the game and also appealed to those present to work on ball handling and fitness.
In the other games played, former power house KAVC lost to Ndejje 3-0 while Namboole lost 3-2 to UPDF in a mouthwatering tie.
The league continues on Sunday at MUBS.
