In a bid to drum up Cranes’ support, FUFA sponsors Airtel have launched a sensitization campaign.
Dubbed “Ugandan Together We Can”, the campaign was launched Monday together with a new home jersey at Namboole.
‘We are energizing all the efforts to see a successful campaign ahead of the upcoming 2015 AFCON finals in Morocco next year,’ said Airtel’s Brand and Communications Manager Alex Wekoye.

Wekoye explained that several media campaigns have been planned to sensitize the public. It all starts with Saturday’s game against Madagascar’s Barea Stars.
Madagascar who beat Uganda 2-1 in the first leg on the Indian Ocean island arrive on Thursday evening.
Large advertising bill boards, print , on-line, radio and television media drives have been well planned to boost the national team’s brand.
‘We have strategically designed to air the message out in several vernacular languages, those understood by the local communities’ added Wekoye.
FUFA used the launch after Cranes morning training to unveil a new kit. It comprises of a red shirt (with a yellow strip that runs from top to bottom on the left), black shorts and red socking.
This is a shift from the yellow dominated kit that the Cranes had with their former sponsors.
FUFA Finance Director Decolas Kiiza said the new design is in line with FUFA’s latest policy of re-branding.
