Desh Kananura committed to the High Court

THE Director of Public Prosecutions has ordered for the trial of Kampala tycoon Desh Kananura. Kananura is a suspect in the murder of his former employee.

THE Director of Public Prosecutions has ordered for the trial of Kampala tycoon Desh Kananura. Kananura is a suspect in the murder of his former employee.
Committal papers to the high court were presented by state attorney Joyce Tushabe to the Grade One Magistrate at City Hall Court Juliet Hatanga who then signed on them .
Kananura is charged together with four others including his brother, Raymond Kananura, Cyrus Maganda, Samuel Muzulewa and Jacob Onyango.
Tushabe has told court that investigations into the matter are complete hence committing Kananura to high court to face trial.
According to court documents, prosecution alleges that on September 30, 2012 Kananura beat to death his former employee Badru Katerega after he found him with sh30,000 that exceeded the allowed amount to be held by any worker at Panamera bar.
