Parliament has today hosted students from the Ohio State University in the United States.

Parliament has today hosted students from the Ohio State University in the United States.

The entourage, led by Dr. Salome Fouts attended the Plenary session chaired by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga.

The students are being hosted by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Makerere University.

They are on a study programme (International Studies/Development course) in areas of Kampala, Kamuli, Jinja, Gulu and Murchions falls.

After a guided tour of the Parliament premises, the students took an opportunity to model.

“We were briefed and have really enjoyed the hospitality in Uganda, the pearl of Africa and we are dressed in long dresses/ attire befitting the society and in particular the Parliament of Uganda,” said Dr. Salome Fouts.
