This was the Welterweight Muay Thai title that he stripped from defending champion, Abdallah Hessen of Egypt in a thrilling contest at Natete Shopping Center on Monday morning.

The win on points came against Hessen who beat Ronald Mugula at Freedom City to snatch the title.

Hessen complained about the punishing style involved in Muay Thai until Semata agreed to change to the K1 style but still lost 146 against 139.

The win in a contest that attracted hundreds of fans has now pushed Semata’s record to 51 fights winning 33, 10 loses and 8 draws.
