Kamwenge town council endorses Museveni

Kibale County in Kamwenge district is the latest constituency to throw its weight behind the Kyankwanzi resolution back President Yoweri Museveni’s 2016 presidential bid.

Kibale County in Kamwenge district is the latest constituency to throw its weight behind the Kyankwanzi resolution back President Yoweri Museveni’s 2016 presidential bid.
 
At a consultative meeting  held at Kamwenge Town Council on Wednesday with their area Member of Parliament  Frank Tumwebaze who is also the Minister in Charge of Presidency and Kampala Capital City Authority, the local leaders overwhelmingly endorsed the NRM MPs Kyankwanzi resolution that urges H.E the President to continue leading the party and offer himself for re-election in 2016.
 
The Leaders thanked the MPs for that resolution and equally endorsed them by show of hands in approval.
 
They particularly thanked President Museveni for the Tarmac road from Ibanda to Kamwenge and to Fort portal which has transformed the area and boosted its tourism potential. 
 
Electricity and water were also singled out as the major central government achievements registered since 2011.
 
Tumwebaze thanked the leaders and residents of Kamwenge for supporting NRM and President Museveni all the time. 
 
He pledged that he will always ensure that Kamwenge gets its right share of the national cake and once again called upon the residents to continue supporting NRM and its founding leader president Museveni 
 
The party plans to hold more consultative meetings in the in the sub-counties of Kababimbiro, Kamwenge, Kahunge, Biguli, Nkoma and bwizi.
