No meeting called for youth leaders - NRM

The ruling NRM party has issued a two paragraph statement clarifying that it has not summoned party youth for a conference at Namboole.

The statement signed the deputy party spokesperson Ofwono Opondo, advises the party youth not to travel to Kampala for the meeting that was slated for April 24.

“NRM Secretariat wishes to clarify that it has not called a National Youth League conference at Namboole on 24/4/14. This is therefore to advise all NRM Youth leaders that no such meeting will take place and consequently they should not travel to Kampala for such a meeting,” he said.
