In his remarks the President hailed the Mengo establishment for cordial relations with the Government.

“I have been hearing positive statements. That is good. I have no problem returning land without conditions in the urban centres,” he said.

The President said Kabaka Ronald Mutebi II was able visit Kayunga without any problem early this year because the factors that earlier affected his intended visit had been sorted. “We do not want a social crisis,” the President said.

Museveni implored cultural institutions and churches to encourage Ugandans to work if they are to be independent.
He invited Buganda kingdom leadership to Rwakitura for a business study tour.
