Background:
The Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), with funding from PEPFAR via CDC works with the KCCA Directorate of Public Health and Environment to offer Safe Male circumcision (SMC) services for HIV prevention within KCCA public Health Centres. Building on this project, IDI has received funding from ‘ The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’ through ‘International Initiative for Impact Evaluations’ to conduct a study entitled “Innovative demand creation for voluntary medical male circumcision amongst potentially high impact male populations”
