EVERY Friday Night Lights season (FNL), the eventual champions have stood out early, breezing through the group stages with unbeaten records.

With four weeks of this year’s edition played, Team Sudi and Team Amoding are separating themselves from the rest of the pack with win after win. Both will be going for their fourth win in four games when the FNL swings back today at the YMCA.

Sudi Ulanga’s side takes on Team Enabu while Maureen Amoding’s troops face Team Duxx in Group A and Group B respectively. Amoding’s side should be a little too much for Steven Mwesigye’s Team Duxx, going by the standings at least.

Duxx have won just one of four games to fall to second-last place in Pool B, the same position for Team Enabu in Pool A.

In captain Ivan Enabu and sibling Jimmy, Team Enabu have enough pace to rival a runaway prisoner yet so far that agility has not translated into wins, with two of three ending in defeats. They will have to be at their best to end Sudi’s unbeaten start.

Team Ikong’s clash with Team Malinga, which is a rematch of last year’s final, will be televised live on Urban TV and it should make for good viewing.

The two sides are level on points, with two wins in three games and obviously neither will be eager to lose the match-winning reward of sh400, 000.
