THE FUFA Super League title race remains a seesaw battle. Action resumes today with four teams having a chance to go top.
Kira Young, Sports Club Victoria University, URA and Vipers are in a tight race that can have any of them taking the lead.
Vipers, fresh from a win over army side Simba, host Bright Stars at Kitende in a match that will have the home team strengthening its lead should it win.
Victoria University have since falling out of the CAF Confederations Cup race steadily shown improvement.
After drawing with Proline last week, they went on to beat four-time champions URA in the tax collectors backyard.
A win will not only have coach Morley Byekwaso striding closer to his first league title as Victoria coach, but also an improvement of the club’s Uganda Cup triumph last season.
Byekwaso has Savio Kabugo, Yaser Mugerwa, Muzamil Mutyaba and Dennis Iguma available from injury and suspension.
He will however have to do without first choice goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan and club top scorer Simon Okwi (six goals) who are both injured.
Mathew Odong is one of the strikers Byekwaso will rely on.
