New Vision rewards distributors

The Vision group has rewarded its distributors of the New Vision newspaper across the country for growing their circulation sales.

 Vision Group has rewarded its distributors of the New Vision newspaper across the country for growing their circulation sales.

The lucky winners have today been given prizes ranging from air tickets; sofa sets and 43 inch flat screen Television sets.

According to the Vision group senior circulation manager Joseph Lwanga, the distributors were also rewarded for their commitment to remitting to the company monies from the Newspaper sales.

“The promotion has been on for the last two months, to get the winners, we considered sales growth, and remittance of the sales to the company by these distributors,” Lwanga explained. 

Lwanga noted that the first prize was three air tickets to dubia, a sofa set to the second runners up and 43 inch flat screen TV sets to those in the third position.

The  winners of  the air tickets to a fully paid trip to Dubai courtesy of Ethiopian Airlines include,  Lubega Philly (Bweyogerere), Stella Karuhanga ( Bwaise) and Ruben Kwebiha

 Haruna Safi (Northern region) was the second runners up. He won a sofa set. Other  winners who walked away with 43 inch flat screen TV sets  include Sundaita Abdul, Joviah Kyomuhendo, Vensar Baryomu (central region), Kwebiiha Araali (western region) and Adungo Meshach (Eastern region).

The visibly excited winners received their prizes at Vision group headquarters First Street, Industrial Area, Kampala.

“Iam so excited about this win. I want to thank New Vision for remembering us; I have worked for New vision since 2000 and it is out of hard work that iam rewarded today,” said Stella Karuhanga, a winner of an air ticket to Dubia. 

Another winner Philly Lubega said; “Iam very grateful to New Vision for recognizing us, and the circulation team for the good work”. 

Handing over the prizes, the New Vision editor, John Kakande, commended the winners for the good work and urged them to ensure that New Vision remains the number one consumed product in the country.

“We are partners; without you, we would not be here. We commend you for ensuring that New Vision and all our products reach our customers. We shall work hand in hand to ensure that New Vision remains on top and go beyond,” said Kakande. 

Ethiopian airlines area manager Uganda, Abebe Angessa also commended the winners adding that Ethiopian airlines would sponsor the three air ticket winners for a fully paid weekend trip to dubia.

“We are partners with New Vision and we wanted to give back to the New Vision distributors in recognition for their work,” said Angessa.
