Last Friday, Jamaican musician Macka Diamond, mostly known in Uganda for her hit song Dye Dye, was supposed to be at Club Venom to give dance hall lovers a Valentine’s treat.

The club was filled to the brim as early as 9:30pm, but the revellers had to wait till 2:00am when the Jamaican artiste stepped onto the stage to perform her first song, Cow Foot.

But by then, many people had already left, and those present were too drunk to notice her presence. It took a while for them to realise Macka Diamond was performing.

She then performed Touchy Touchy and midway through her intro, Vampino joined her on stage and he performed like it was a duet.

The crowd loved their performance as Vampino showed once again why he is a big dance hall artiste in Uganda. He spoke patois like a Jamaican native as he communicated with Macka Diamond.

She then performed her final song Dye Dye to a thunderous applause from the revellers.

She performed the song three times, the Jamaican version, Spanish version; and later, the MCs of the night helped her perform the Luganda version of the song as a wrap-up.
