Baru Lusambya stepped in to stop the rivals coming to blows.

The budding boxer could not wait for February 28 as he attempted to reach out for his opponent during the launch of fight at Mount Zion Hotel.

It took the efforts of boxer Badru Lusambya to separate the two boxers and avoid an exchange of blows.

“I lost last time because there were some mistakes which I have corrected. How can a guy with a big tummy beat me?” Odeke wonder aloud as he surged forward.

“I will show some of my tactics. I will not bring out everything because this guy will not survive. I do not need his family to suffer,” added Odeke.

Odeke (left) who is coming off the back of a humbling defeat 5 months ago had some stern words for his rival Muhumuza.

“Odeke is talking like that because he lacks experience. As for me, I am well groomed with a rich amateur record,” he said much to the annoyance of his opponent who had to be kept at bay by Lusambya.

The two boxers will be meeting for the first time in the right in the event organized by Intersport International Promotions.

The fight which will have the Africa Boxing Union (ABU) middleweight title between Medi Sebyala and Chimwemwe Chiotcha of Malawi among the undercard fights, will be live on NBS TV.
