The Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH)/ Institute of Tropical Medicine – Antwerp (ITM-A) Institutional Collaboration (IC) has obtained a grant from the Belgian Government under the 3rd Framework Agreement to implement a multi-year project aimed at capacity building for strengthening the health system in Uganda with particular focus at the district level. The project is jointly implemented by Mak-SPH, the Ministry of Health in Uganda, and the Uganda Public Health Specialists Association (UPHSA), as well as the Public Health Department at the ITM-A (Belgium).
