Last Saturday was the much awaited Hi-Pipo awards at Wonder world amusement park. It started with a few performances from upcoming artists that I chose not to take note of because, well, they were still upcoming, I will pay attention when they get there.

Fille, the girl who owned 2013 was one of the artists who registered splendid performances though Grace Nakimera won every ones heart on that arena.

Though out of the lime light for the whole of last year; she showed she still had a lot to offer when she gave a breathtaking performance.

The star of the night however was Bebe cool.

After scooping six awards, the organizers found it pertinent to honor him by calling him to hand an award to Rema, a former Gagamel crew member and protégé.

He refused the request and walked off as Rema was coming on stage.

However when Rema came onto stage, she didn't act as the latter but rather, in her acceptance speech,  knelt down and thanked Bebe cool for being a good mentor who elevated her to the heights she is.

This sent the gigantic crowd into deafening ululations as it showed Rema had acted more maturely than her former boss.

At around midnight, Santana was invited onto stage to perform in conclusion to the night.
