Vipers upbeat as Super League returns

TABLE leaders Vipers SC are optimistic of retaining the championship ahead of the second round of the FUFA Super League that kicks off this Friday

TABLE leaders Vipers SC are optimistic of retaining the championship ahead of the second round of the FUFA Super League that kicks off this Friday. 

“The team is ready for any challenge. Our target this season is to win the league” Vipers secretary Haruna Kyobe stated. 

Kyobe also noted that the team has played so many friendly matches and this has boosted the players’ confidence levels. 

Farouk Miya, Dan Birikwalira and James Alitho are some of the players that joined the team after completing their studies at St. Mary’s Kitende. Martin Mwanga, Muhammed Abdullah and Edgar Luziga were released. Vipers have 29 points from 15 first round games.
