The Government of Uganda is in the process of establishing and equipping fifteen (15) new technical institutes in various districts of Uganda, with Loan financing from the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA). This intervention is in line with the objectives of the Government’s Skilling Uganda Programme.
