MBARARA University of Science and Technology (MUST) is set to graduate 933 student in her 20th graduation ceremony slated to take place on Saturday February 1st

MBARARA University of Science and Technology (MUST) is set to graduate 933 student in her 20th graduation ceremony slated to take place on Saturday February 1st 2014.

Dennis Lukaaya, the University Pubilc relations officer told New Vision on Thursday that the Graduation Ceremony for the students who successfully completed their studies during the 2012/2013 Academic year will be held at Pharmacology Lecture Theatre Grounds.

“This will be a special graduation as the university prepares to mark 25 years of existence and in academic Excellency.  It commenced offering bachelor degree since its inception in 1989 and moved on to offer the degree of Doctor of Philosophy,” He added.

Prof Peter Mugyenyi, the University chancellor will preside over the graduation and guests from ministry of Education and sports, political leaders, religious leaders and academicians will also grace the occasion.

Out of the 933 students, 545 are male and 388 female, all who will be presented with diplomas, post graduate diplomas, bachelor degrees, master degrees and degree of Doctor of philosophy in various disciplines.

Among them, seven students will be presented with degree of doctor of philosophy and 23 with master degrees.
