Alupo announces release of PLE results on Friday

The Ministry for education and sports has confirmed that Primary Living Education (PLE) for 2013 will be released on Friday January 31, 2014.

Education and sport minister, Jessica Alupo, on Tuesday told reporters at parliament  that results are ready.

This comes after media reports last week suggesting that the examinations body, UNEB had failed to complete marking of exams due a breakdown in computer system.

A total of 582,085 candidates sat for Primary Leaving Examinations in November last year.

There was an increase of 16,422 candidates from the number that sat for PLE the previous year
