MUST signs deal with Limpopo University

Mbarara University of Science and Technology and Uganda Technology and Management University have signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Limpopo and the Human Sciences Research Centre in S.Africa to enhance PhD courses.

Mbarara University of Science and Technology and Uganda Technology and Management University have signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Limpopo and the Human Sciences Research Centre in S.Africa to enhance PhD courses.


The four institutions will share knowledge and experience, design joint learning programmes, graduate research methodology, effective supervision and build their institutional capacities.

The deal will have staff of the four institutions conducting PhD programmes in each of the institutions. MUST vice-chancellor Prof. Fredrick Kayanja, UTAMU vice-chancellor Prof. Venansius Baryamureeba, a director the University of Limpopo Prof. Fuluthelo Godfrey Netswera and the research director at Human Sciences Research Centre Dr. Khangelani Zuma, signed the deal.
