As the sixth season of Tusker Project Fame draws towards the end with just two weeks to the Grand finale, all contestants have been put on the probation list  which could see some of them exit the academy if they don’t step up next Saturday during the live eviction show.

A surprise non eviction week last week stunned the contestants but after some great performances with Victor Seii as the music director the contestants earned a well-deserved reprieve which gave them a week of less worry.

East Africa has been tasked to vote for their favourite contestants in the most dramatic Tusker Project Fame season yet. With each country getting one vote, every country has to vote dynamically to save their contestants this week with the on going stiff competition.

The show which was based loosely on the story format of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was simply titled Coconut Brown and the Seven Benga Dwarves excited the audiences. Narrated by Dr.Mich and Joey the performances had the audiences thrilled as contestants put on a great show clad in great costumes with a touch of the African theme.

As Mich and Joey narrated the story seamlessly, the two introduced Uganda’s Daisy as the evil queen singing Michael Jackson’s mega hit Bad, which received a lot of criticism from the judges who said that she went off key. Playing the part of the King was Kojjo singing Change the World by Eric Clapton, Kojjo gave a sweet performance that put tears in the eyes of the audience but the judges felt that he forgot the lyrics and lost the plot during the song.

Patrick came out with his figurative guns blazing. As the policeman, Patrick had the crowd clapping along as he sang the chorus. Taking Principal Eric’s song who was the week’s music director and making it his own, Patrick had a ball on the stage, hitting the dance moves perfectly and getting the largest applause from the crowd.

Hisia looked like this niche in the music industry was made for him. Backed by all the boys in the Academy, Hisia received the first standing ovation of the night from the Judges.  Singing My Immortal by Evanescence, Nyambura gave a strong vocal performance, she sang with the perfect emotion.

Back in Kampala, Sitenda was hosted to a welcome party by Uganda Breweries Limited at Panamera Bar. The Project Fame evictee performed to her fans and showcasing her great talent which left her fans craving for more. The Undercover Brothers were also present and entertained the fans.

The weekly Tusker Parties are being held at Panamera Bar in Naguru every Sunday where fans watch the show, get to enjoy sumptuous entertainment and performances and enjoy Tusker exclusively at a discounted price of UGX 3,000.

Now in week three of the Watch and Win’ promotion, two winners of UGX 1milllion have been awarded and Tusker Lager Brand Manager, Joy Mwine says that over UGX 120 million is up for grabs for Tusker consumers during the period of the show.

Meanwhile, Uganda’s remaining stars, Daisy and Kojjo continue to represent the country well and all eyes are on them to make the country proud.

Hope who came out singing Papa Wemba and whipped his guitar forward and played as he sang was in full control of the song and gave a memorable performance. Receiving serious applause, Judge Hermes thought that Hope was great.

The contestants closed the show with San Fan Thomas’ hit Ti Cha. Dancing and singing, the contestants had the crowd moving along and dancing. Even Judge Hermes could not help himself as he bounced along to the music and vocal arrangement.
