A five-day continental conference gets under way in Kampala to chart a way of enhancing the use and role of intellectual property rights.


The 37th session of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO) Administrative Council and Council of Ministers Meeting will be hosted at the Speke Resort Munyonyo and will run till Friday.

Justice minister Kahinda Otafiire is expected to preside at the opening ceremony this morning.
