Mbarara hospital gets equipment worth sh80m

Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has received a donation of medical equipment worth over sh80m from NGOs Save the Children International and Healthy Child Uganda to improve maternal and child health in Uganda.

MBARARA:
Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has received a donation of medical equipment worth over sh80m from NGOs Save the Children International and Healthy Child Uganda to improve maternal and child health in Uganda.  

The items were handed over to the hospital management at Healthy Child Uganda’s offices in Mbarara on Monday. The equipment will be used in the maternity and pediatrics department.

According to Teddy Kyomuhangi, the project manager Healthy Child Uganda, Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital is now part of the 99 health facilities that have benefited from the campaign of saving children and improving maternal health.
