Vision Group enters 50 in Cancer Run

50 Vision Group staff members will participate in the Rotary Cancer Run on August 30, at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to raise funds for a new blood bank at Mengo Hospital.

50 Vision Group staff members will participate in the Rotary Cancer Run on August 30, at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to raise funds for a new blood bank at Mengo Hospital.


John Odyek the Coordinator of the Vision Group team that includes Bukedde Tv, Bukedde Radio, Xfm Radio, Urban Tv, New vision, Kampala Sun, Orumuri, and Etop confirmed the development.

"We have agreed to field 50 runners for this noble cause and we registering participants at first come first serve," Odyek stated.

Participants will compete in the various categories that include 5km, 10km and 21km.

Last year the run raised funds for the Cancer ward at Nsambya Hospital which was successfully completed and handed over to the hospital in March this year.

Registration of participants is sh20, 000=at Centenary Bank Kampala branches, All Capital Shoppers outlets, Rotary offices 9th floor NIC building.

The event is supported by Vision Group, Centenary Bank and Crown Beverages.​
