My mom is irreplaceable - Vampino

DANCEHALL star Vampino has said his mother Sophie Baguma was very special to him and added that nobody in this world can fill the gap she left in his heart and life.

“She was very special to me and for those telling me sorry, I am simply telling them to be sorry for themselves for not having a chance to know the kind of woman she was,” said Vampino in an interview with New Vision.

Baguma, the mother to music stars Vampino, Maurice Kirya and Sabba Sabba passed away on Sunday after a long battle with cancer and will be laid to rest at Rwenkore in Masindi on Wednesday at 4pm.

Close friends and relatives said that Vampino was very close to his mother and would always consult her almost on anything and on Monday at the vigil at Makindye he was inconsolable.

Many celebrities attended the vigil and church service at Makindye and many were expected to attend the burial.
