POPE Francis has held a meeting with the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.

POPE Francis has held a meeting with the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.
The meeting in the Vatican was held on Monday September 23, according to the Vatican Information Service.
No details we given about what the Pope and the Archbishop discussed during the meeting.
The new Pope, who has not travelled much, recently got an invitation to visit Uganda.
The Catholic Church invited Pope Francis to Uganda during celebrations to mark the 125th anniversary of Martyrs Day in June.
The request was made by the Archbishop of Mbarara archdiocese Paul K. Bakyenga who was the main celebrant at the Martyrs Day in Uganda.
Archbishop Bakyenga asked the Apostolic Nuncio to invite Pope Francis to Uganda.
