Museveni hailed the administration of the school for promoting science subjects saying that students who offer sciences find it easy to get jobs.

“If you are a child of a rich man you can study for just knowledge, you can study Latin, Greek just for interest and when you finish you go back and manage your father’s riches. But if you’re a child from a poor man you have to do science subjects that you can easily get jobs,” Museveni said.

Museveni urged students to be disciplined and focused saying Teso College has produced great leaders that they should emulate.

The school headmaster Sylvester Ocatum hailed government for the support rendered to the school. He said the school has embarked on tree planting and so far they have planted over 1000 trees.
