When everyone else was making their mark, unleashing strategies from the start, there was no guessing that the invisible Dellish from Namabia would be first to cross the finishing line in the just concluded Big Brother the chase.

Immersed in emotion, she watched as Cleo from Zambia walked out of the house after being announced second runner up, that was after Ghana’s Elikem, Nigeria’s Melvin and Beverly in that order.

“Congratulations Dellish, you are the winner of Big Brother Africa the chase. Now Dellish will you please leave the Big Brother House,”were the words from the ever authoritative Big Brother voice that confirmed this win and whisked a tear filled Dellish to the outside world.

A massive US$300.000 waited for her upon stepping out of the house for the first time in the past 91 days. But after it had all settled in, she spared a moment to shake her head to the celebratory music that filled the airwaves and bubbles that sealed her win.

It was a rather exciting finale with memorable performances like the energetic performance from Uganda’s girl of hip-hop Keko. Keeping the crowd swaying, Keko fitted right into her performance and even got an excited Vision Group’s Denzel Mwiyeretsi also a former housemate pulling his signature neck wiggling moves.

Next to the Keko saucy do was a performance by one of the evicted Big Brother housemates Sulu with a song about the Ruby house that got the Ruby housemates dancing. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, Big Brother host IK Osakioduwa had funny clips of him dancing and making faces making the crowd even more excited.

Like in all Big Brother finales, all the housemates shared a stage with each exited at the sight of the people they connected with. What made this more colorful was the sight of the long forgotten housemates with some making effort to leave a mark in their entrance, it was dejavu.

Clad in red pants, Uganda’s Lugudde walked in with his lady of interest South Africa’s Koketso also in a complementing red dress. It was quite obvious what the audience wanted whenever they saw a couple.
Nigeria’s Beverly was the fifth to leave the house straight to the arms of her love interest, South Africa’s Angelo who swung her around for a bit until IK stubbornly chased him off the stage that is.

To crown the evening, Elikem won an all expense holiday and US$10,000 to spend as he liked with the girl of his choice and he chose Pokello.

Then Dellish’s Boyfriend a one Steven walked on stage with a tiara for his girl; it was as if a queen had been crowned which marked the end of this year’s Big Brother show.
