Mbarara school girls share latrine with teachers

Girls at Ruti Muslim Primary School in Mbarara Municipality are sharing latrines with teachers following the collapse of their latrine.

The girls' latrine caved in on June 19. Since then, girls have been sharing places of convenience with their teachers which is an inconvenience to both the pupils and teachers.

The school deputy head teacher, Monica Nabasa, said that they have written to Mbarara Municipal Council for help.  

Mbarara Municipality Town Clerk, Johnson Baryantuma Munono, confirmed receipt of the message and said they are treating it as an emergency.
